La reine Liz imagine ce que ce serait d'être libre.
La chef pirate irlandaise Grace O'Malley se faufile dans la chambre de la reine Elizabeth I d'Angleterre et convainc la reine de lui rendre son navire et de libérer son amant. En retour, Grace assistera à la célébration de l'anniversaire de la reine et fera sensation, ce qui ravira Liz.
Xiao Lian est ramenée à l'ancienne cour royale, où elle assiste à l'entrée majestueuse du roi Huai de Chu. Qu Yuan est au sommet de son pouvoir mais est bientôt déjoué par le ministre rival Zhang Yi. Qu Yuan est abattu et banni par son roi bien-aimé.
