SYNOPSIS
A modern retelling of the famous love story of Helen and Paris. In a hotel room, some time into their relationship, Helen and Paris’s ardour seems to be fluctuating.
MUSIC DESCRIPTION
Gentle triplets in the piano provide a soft backdrop to this scene between lovers. Paris sings lyrically and passionately. Brief dissonant, harsher moments break apart Paris’s otherwise lyrical, passionate vocal lines. Helen, his lover, sings more distantly, filled with soft resignation.
