QUOTATIONS FROM CREATIVE TEAM
Perfect Night was written during LIBLAB 2011. My composer, Jana Skarecky, really wanted to work on something playful and light, and I was all for it! On a shelf in my billet’s house stood a volume of poems by Irving Layton. It all began from there, eventually turning into a piece about the ultimate futility of any quest for perfection.
