SYNOPSIS
Content warning: death
Trapped and encased by an avalanche, a man thinks only of his wife and finding a way out. Meanwhile, his wife is filled with suspicion. She thinks heβs having an affair, and his silence is the proof. Between the two, Death sings of the ways it brings about disaster.

MUSIC DESCRIPTION
A slow pulse in the piano grounds this scene as, separately, a man and his wife sing in distress: the man, buried in an avalanche, sings in desperation, his voice reaching into falsetto, while his wife, unaware, worries over increasingly abrupt and panicked phrases that he is having an affair. In a stoic and simple rising melody wedged between both voices, Death repeats relentlessly how it can take many forms.
