SYNOPSIS
A blind dancer and the shadow of her former sight share a final dance.
MUSIC DESCRIPTION
A repeated pitch in the piano keeps this music in a state of suspension as the two voices of this duet weave together, repeating and borrowing pitches from one another's phrases in a subtle call-and-response. Understated piano, often in the upper register, gives the scene an intimate, delicate feel.
