Sharon studied Intimacy direction with Tonia Sina (Intimacy Directors International) Alicia Rodis (The Deuce) and Clare Warden (Frankie and Johnnie in the Claire de Lune) who are the pioneers of this work at HBO and on Broadway. As the only Canadian, Sharon attended their inaugural 10- day Intensive in Intimacy Direction with Intimacy Directors International in Urbana Illinois in 2018. In 2019 Sharon was invited by IDI as an intern in their Canadian Intensive at York University in Toronto. Sharon is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was recently Intimacy Coordinator on Esther.

Sharon has been working professionally as an actor and director in both film and theatre for over 30 years. Her selected film and television credits (acting) include Nobody (Universal), Run (Lionsgate), The Stone Angel (Alliance), Shall We Dance (Miramax), Burden of Truth (CBC), Love at Daisy Hill, Project Christmas Wish (Hallmark), Forever Christmas (Lifetime) Nellie Bly: Escaping the Madhouse (Lifetime), Falcon Beach (Original Pictures), Cashing In (APTN), Sacrifice: The JJ Harper Story (CBC).

Sharon trained at Studio 58 in Vancouver and at The Stratford Festival of Canada. She runs a small theatre company in Winnipeg (The Keep) where she creates new original work and provides ongoing private coaching and acting classes for theatre and film.
